a very quiet and peaceful small town, located 4 hour drive from KL through PLUS highway. From KL you can exit either Cangkat Jering Toll or at Taiping Utara - Kamunting exit to enter the town.
taiping have a lot of historical to tell about. Taiping has it own zoo, Museum and a beautiful Lake Garden suitable for family recreation. Bukit Larut also a favorite spot for people that love hiking. Dont forget to lepak at Larut Matang supermarket (bus stand taiping) for a various delicious meal to choose from.
